What you will do:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and modern software engineering practices.

Build and enhance microservices-based architectures to support large-scale enterprise solutions.Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code, including automated tests.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from solution design through production deployment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and deliver new features and enhancements.

Ensure application performance, scalability, availability, and resilience.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, and architectural discussions.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, frameworks, and engineering standards.

Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and best practices to improve platform capabilities.
-
Solve complex challenges related to distributed systems, fault tolerance, rate limiting, queueing, asynchronous processing, and system reliability.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience in backend software development.
- Solid experience with Java.
- Experience working with Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and system integrations.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms (Kafka is a plus).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible, or similar.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
- Understanding of software quality practices, automated testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Knowledge of resilience and reliability patterns, including Circuit Breakers, Retry Patterns, Rate Limiting, and Exponential Backoff.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Go.
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch and Redis.
- Experience with DynamoDB, MongoDB, or other large-scale NoSQL databases.
- Experience designing and supporting highly available distributed systems.
- Knowledge of functional programming concepts.
- Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Experience in global and large-scale product development environments.
